Bridal Preparation

The story of a wedding begins long before the ceremony. It is anticipation, laughter, the nerves and all the small moments that happen while everyone is getting ready.

I usually arrive around an hour and a half before the ceremony, giving me time to photograph the atmosphere as it naturally unfolds — hair and make-up, the dress, flowers, jewellery and the people who are part of the morning.

I work quietly and instinctively, allowing things to happen rather than constantly directing them. The result is a collection of photographs that feels genuine, stylish and full of personality.
