Kent offers an extraordinary variety of settings for weddings, from elegant country houses and historic estates to contemporary venues, gardens and relaxed rural celebrations. Over the years, Visionaire has photographed weddings throughout the county, including Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford and the surrounding areas, always looking for the light, atmosphere and small unscripted moments that make each celebration feel completely individual.

Kent Weddings — Places I Know

Having photographed weddings across Kent for more than three decades, I've come to know many of the county's distinctive settings, from historic country houses to beautifully understated garden venues.

I've photographed around 60 weddings at Eastwell Manor, from winter celebrations to beautiful summer evenings in its gardens. Turkey Mill in Maidstone is another favourite, with its waterways, mature trees and

wonderfully varied light.

Nettlestead Place offers historic architecture and intimate spaces, while The Secret Garden near Ashford has a relaxed, atmospheric charm.

My familiarity with these venues allows me to work instinctively, finding beautiful light, quieter moments and unexpected compositions without interrupting the natural rhythm of the wedding.

The best wedding photographs often happen somewhere between what is planned and what is completely unexpected. My approach is to work quietly and instinctively, allowing moments to unfold naturally while always being aware of light, composition and atmosphere. Alongside the documentary images, I also create more considered portraits with a contemporary, editorial feel — never over-posed, but carefully shaped to look effortless.
