Editorial, artistic wedding photography for modern London celebrations.
London has a habit of making weddings feel slightly more cinematic than they perhaps have any right to.
One minute you are in a quiet hotel suite with beautiful window light. The next you are crossing the city in traffic, somebody has lost a buttonhole, and a black cab has suddenly become part of the composition.
That is rather why I like photographing weddings here.
My approach combines documentary observation with an editorial eye — elegant when it needs to be, spontaneous when it should be, and never so polished that the photographs stop feeling like the people in them.
Weddings Across London
London weddings come in every shape imaginable.
Grand hotels, private clubs, restaurants, townhouses, galleries, historic buildings and very modern spaces all bring something different to the photographs.
What matters to me is not forcing every wedding into the same visual formula.
The architecture, the light, the clothes, the weather and the people should all influence the way the story looks.
That usually makes the photographs more interesting.
