An Eastwell Manor Wedding in Photographs | A Visionaire Story

Eastwell Manor has been part of my photographic life for many years. I have photographed around sixty weddings here, and familiarity has never made the place less interesting. The grand building, gardens and interiors offer constantly changing opportunities; even a familiar setting can reveal a new relationship between light and people.

Photographs and atmosphere

These photographs are drawn from a wedding album already featured on the Visionaire website. The sequence is intended to do what a good wedding story should: leave room for the architecture, the personalities and the smaller observations, rather than relying on portraits alone.

A personal perspective

Every wedding has a different pace. What interests me is balancing an honest documentary record with those few more deliberate compositions that bring something unexpected to the story.
